Setting up a team's culture & perks
3 min read
A team isn't just a billing arrangement, real teams have a real identity, and the team builder's Culture & Perks step, step 4 of 5, is where you write it down.

What you set
- Ethos opening line. A short, real statement of what this team is about, shown to members on their own Team tab.
- Guidelines. Whatever expectations you want spelled out plainly, attendance, conduct, whatever matters to how this specific team runs.
- Closing line. A short sign-off, the last thing a member reads.
- Perks. A real list, each with its own tag, title, and detail, e.g. a "Rate" tag, "Merch discount" title, "15% off at every merch drop" detail. Add or remove perks freely.

This is genuinely worth writing, not just skipping
A team with a real, specific ethos and a couple of concrete perks reads as something worth being part of. A blank Culture & Perks step reads as an afterthought, and members notice the difference.
