Archiving vs. deleting a pass type

1 min read

A pass type has a real Active/Archived status toggle. Archiving stops it showing up as an option for new purchases, but doesn't touch anyone who already bought one, their existing credits keep working exactly as before.

The Passes list with real pass types, each showing an Edit, Duplicate, and Archive button, and text like '1 active pass held' or '3 active passes held'
Every pass type shows Edit, Duplicate, and Archive right on the list, along with how many students currently hold an active one.
The Scope step of the pass wizard with an 'Active (purchasable by students)' checkbox checked
This is the real field Archive flips off: 'Active (purchasable by students).' Turning it back on from Edit is the same as un-archiving.

Archive first if you're even slightly unsure

Same reasoning as deactivating vs. deleting an admin, archiving is fully reversible, you can switch it back to active any time. Treat an actual deletion as the rarer, more deliberate action.
